What a nice head unit set up , just of the top do you know what model No etc this is--

--and would I be right in thinking that this head unit in a 92 tombstone would require the 1.5 mx5parts.co.uk or the 97 toombstone and a single din pocket ?

Sorry for the thuknurs I haven't had my  's yet.

And again how neatly does that present :!:

I don't believe Alpine make/supply this unit anymore. I bought it over 10 years ago. I like the modern headunits that support MP3 and other compressed formats as well as USB input.

I think you will find that the '97 tombstone is true 1 din width hence a 1 din headunit fits 'in' the tombstone, rather than 'on' it. If you are happy with that, then you require the 1.5 mx5parts.co.uk pocket or the 97 tombstone and a single din pocket.

Thanks for that

Yup, checked last night , old , I'll keep an eye out , but I don't like my chances , probably better to look at new stuff anyhoo found some Nakamichi set ups that could be interesting.

http://www.alexminassian.com/nakamichi_specials.htm

Thier studio/home stuff used to be outstanding dunno about thier car stuff now though.

I also checked and the 92 NA6 is 122mm deep so the 97 must be 100mm the width of the 92 is exactly 100mm which is a 1 din width so the 97 would have to be 104/106 or so wide to allow recessing of the head unit. ?
