Biggggg update :D

So over the past three days ive made a bit of progress and also had a few things not go my way :( Main thing was finishing off the brakes.. Well i did the fronts all good, but when i went to do the rear i could pull through the new studs.. Turns out there were a little bit too big for the hole. So unfortunately i wasnt able to keep going with that.

Anyways i got the main thing i wanted to do this weekend which was dropping the motor and gearbox in. This was a success :D

Although we couldnt fit the ppf and the driveshaft due to missing a spacer but thats easily done another day.

All thats left really is to:
- finish off rear brakes
- modify brake like to fit around dump pipe.
- finish intercooler piping
- 3" cat of some sort
- wire tuck :D :D

Few little things here and there but its not to much which is good. So happy that i finally have an engine :D NO MORE FLINSTONE CAR!!!!!

thanks :)

got the missing spacer so i can now put the ppf back in and the drive shaft :D
also re routed my fuel lines.. gonna need to get the long line under the car shortened though. Organised my intercooler piping to get sorted on saturday so thats a relief.. also trying to figure out which is the best option for my heater hose or whether i should just make up a custom one.. reason being is that its pretty close to the manifold and it might cause problems with the oil drain line..

oh well it will come together soon i hope

Update:

So in the last few days ive just been doing a few little fiddly stuff after work.. So far the injectors, rail and fuel lines are hooked up. Just stripped back the old wiring harness and re taped it and ran it differently.. Stoked with the out come. Gonna keep doing the little things i can over the next week or so. Hopefully wont be far off from a tune :D :D

Cheers dude. Still probably 2-3 weeks though. Gonna do my rear studs next week whenever they come then it's gonna go to automotive plus just do a few things and to check over it and make sure it's all good :)

So close though XD !!!!

Update:

So today i got my intercooler piping all test fitted and made note of any adjustments we have to make. Really good to get this stuff sorted as its one less thing to worry about :) This should be finished during the week some time :D

Also a mate gave me a bellmouth since he isnt using it. So this is what it looks like. I dig it. But i also have an alloy pipe/filter setup to use for street.

LOL.... Yeah, cause without that "alloy pipe/filter" you'd be illegal on the street....

I'd be more concerned about the whole engines not liking twigs, rocks, and other bits of sh*t, getting inside them.
