Do your research into brand, warranty, etc.

I recall some brands of high flow cat have a tendancy to wear rather quickly.

No point spending $400 on a cat only to have it collapse in 6 months and do the same job as a broomhandled cat.

edit:
Before asking, I didn't do the research. My girlfriend did when looking for a high flow cat for her car.
I just remember her saying there's a few that collapse rather easily.

Can do.

If it helps, she chose a Magnaflow in the end.

That is the dodgiest cat I've ever seen.

Basho, seriously, you have to do actual research yourself before spending 30mins on a new subject then posting up questions on this forum.
We like to help but I'm sure you know the saying:
"give a man a fish .... teach him how to fish..."

There are heaps of brand name cats on eBay for around $160, buy one, bring it to exhaust shop, get them to fit it for another $100-$150.

Just in case you haven't picked it up yet, the US is more often than not, the best source for aftermarket replacement parts. cue Mr.Morlock

Simply replace the word "MX-5" with "Miata" and you should find everything you are looking for.

This question was specific, your opinion is noted even though not based on experiance , only partialy on topic and quite worthless.

I specificaly was refering to "ready to fit"

As to the rest of your drivel , this is a forum, a place for discussion and real time relevant ideas exchange ---just in case you haven't noticed --if you're going to reply with something relevant and germaine to the question good ,otherwise , go away , I niether need or want you fishing analogies.

I have been in touch with Best Mufflers who can supply a ready to fit --when Chris finds the jig --for around $370 delivered, dependant on the cat chosen.

You have to remember that its not just you that has a say in whether you want or dont want 1red5's opinion.

He is right, there is far too many unresearched silly questions on the forum.

It's also not MT.

It would also help if people don't want to help. They say "maybe try the search function or check out eBay etc..." Or don't reply

No point making people feel bad.

To them, it's not a silly question. There just unsure and looking for help.
