So the seat brackets arrived on Tuesday and I was all excited to install them on Wednesday after returning from a friends place on the central coast, which BTW was awesome cause I took the long way there and back.

So I got home got the old seat out and took freaking forever trying to get the side mounts on the seat (the bolts are next to impossible to get to), and when it was roughly aligned I went to sit on it and it was like 1 to 1.5" off center, maybe 2" higher and the wing of the seat was hitting the door...... So yeh, didn't work so well. It isn't possible to mount the seat any lower due to the design of the seat and the design of the rails (the Pro2000 can mount lower because the mounting points are lower on the seat than the EVO), so I shall have to investigate different options here. Also, I am such a clutz, and apparently I need to go back to primary school cause in doing the group buy I ordered 4 sets of rails....and completely freaking forgot to count myself..... So yehhhhhh, kinda worked out well that it didn't fit I guess.

So Hayden, Nemo and Eren came by so we could all drive to the FnC run, which was cool, here are some shots from it.

Overall the FnC run was awesome, and I had a really good time. It was also the first time I had been on a cruise in like forever. Such an awesome bunch of people!

Also, if anyone wanted to know them, these are my ride height specs currently, with driver and about 2/3rd tank of petrol.

Image

In the final figures, the inches number is the difference in the static ride height and full droop height.
