Anyone interested in MX5 meet on the Mornington Peninsula?
Would anyone be interested in a monthly MX5 meet on the Mornington Peninsula?
I would love to attend the weekly at Garage Café but as I live on the peninsula it’s not something I can make it to on a week night.
Would be great to meet some fellow enthusiasts that live down this way

There's a few of us on here from down that way.
Suggest a place and date and I'm sure if people are free they will be there. Good chance there will be a few interested from a bit further afield as well. After all we travel to the city every week to see them .

I spent many holidays around Rosebud / Portsea, must be some great roads further around near Cape Shank.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I would be up for something like that. Would get to the garage more often but it clashes with my Thursday night tennis.
If anyone would be interested in something different I could organise a tennis night, possibly 3 sets of tennis & a beer for $10. Would have to run by the club 1st but Im sure it would be ok as numbers are small for Thursday night at the moment.
Wouldn't need to be experienced just have a hit a laugh.

They all sound like great ideas, Stoked theres so much interest already!
Im definately keen for the Sunday 4th breakfast run. Ill get onto Ron for sure, cheers.
Sunday wold work for me for a meet as well - my only weekend day off too
And id love a hit on a thursday as well, been a while since ive swung a racket
Maybe a sunday lunch in Main St Mornington somewhere? I go to La Monicas fairly regularly and am friendly with the owner so could organise a lunch there if the numbers are decent but not huge, or if its just drinks we're after I could tee up something at The Brass Razoo, also friendly with the owner there.
Many carparks to choose from and would depend on numbers as to which would work best.
As for mid week options would a tuesday or wednesday meet work for anyone? Fishermans beach carpark with coffee/dinner/drinks at Lilo Cafe?

There are DEFINAELY some SUPER great roads all over the Peninsula, I grew up in West Rosebud / Mt Eliza and have been into cars since I got my first padock bom when I was 11 (thanks Dad ;) So I know every nook n crany

+1 here.. I leave at the end of the frankston freeway (aspendale gardens), so not too far. I would be down for it if there's a good suggestion for a meet up

So this thread seems to have done the Titanic. Let's revive it.
How about a meet up for a cruise (and food after-optional) on Sunday the 5th of Febuary.
Open for suggestions as to a starting place - you guys probably know the roads better here than I do - although I'm rather fond of Arthurs Seat (when the roads are clear)
Hand up if you're interested.
