Update:

So a lot has been happening over the last few day and its getting me pretty excited :P

In the last few days i got my car back from being resprayed again, also resprayed a few things myself. Started getting sh*t on today.

Also got my block back from machining and dropped all my parts down to Automotive plus who are gonna build the motor for me :D

Also purchased my new brakes.. Its just basic atm untill i learn to drive this car again and then ill upgrade to some wilwoods :)

Will have motor done next week. Next sunday i should have the motor, gearbox, driveshaft, ppf, brakes all done. and start to bleed them.. maybe :P

Update:

So the motor is being built ATM and the bottom end got finished tonight. Should have it all complete ready to go in on Friday. So will be trying to get it put in on Sunday :) hopefully its not to hard.
List of sh*t to do Sunday:

- drop motor and box in
- fit up ppf and tailshaft etc
- check out diff leak
- install new rotors, lines and pads

Also got my new seat rails today :) they look really good

Anyone that wants to come help out Sunday pm me :) ur help would be much appreciated

Curious, do you have a spreadsheet on costing for all of the work to date? I don't want to know the figure, just if you kept tabs?

Nope. I think I would hate to see the total amount lol. I know it's a lot but then again not everything has gone to plan :P

I don't mind though, as long as its what I hope it will be then I'll be happy :)

Yeah see that's it. I know for a fact that people would frown upon me and the amount of money that goes into this but at the end of the day, I'm only 20, I work hard and this is what I want to spend my money on :)

I'm betting that Charlie, like many of us modders, doesn't even want to know how much he's already spent on the car - better to look upon it as a hobby, that way you don't feel bad about how much you've actually spent on the car and don't have to justify it.

but then I wouldnt be happy.

and if I knew...then the wife would know how much i have spent, best not to go there Charlie haha

Update :D

So the motor is finished .. ƒü¢k it looks so sick haha. Really happy with it. HUUUGGEEE thanks to Jason down at Automotive Plus for putting this together. Awesome customer service and so fast.

Also did my front brakes today but the rain and wind blew away my gazebo :( so im gonna have to finish the rears and bleed it all tomorrow :) Sunday the motor will get dropped in along with the 6 speed gear box :D soo keen lol
