Glad u got one for good price and hope it fits.

Ended up getting mine in...only to find out my old cable was not making the noise at all and is still perfectly good :x

Never mind....I learned how to do another thing and ended up finding the elusive source of annoying buzzing sound. Turns out it was never coming from dash area but rather the engine bay...it was a loose bracket that resonated against the firewall at a certain rev range and could be heard coming from behind the instrument area.

Anyone want to but a perfectly good used NA8 speedo cable as I couldn't be bothered pulling out the new one I just installed?

Damn that sucks . probably a good idea to leave it there , lest you change it back then a week later the origional spits and you have to do it all over again.

I've noticed that replaceing bits on these cars comes in bunches , never one hose gotta do seven, do the clutch 4 weeks later do the speedo cable , if it's disturbed plan on replacing it.

Not a whinge , logic I spose it's just 20 years old stuff , on many cars stuff dosen't last 20 months never mind 20 years.

My only concern is that it is the cable and not the damn speedo head it's only done 81000ks but it is 20 years old .
