Re: Puncture Sealant Can (For NC)
The guy behind the counter didn't think you could get it then I told him the NC doesn't have a spare wheel so we must beable to get it because that is all that comes with it
So he dug around and found it and his jaw pretty much drop to the ground and said "mate do you really want to know?" to which I said what $200? and he replied with "no! times that by 2 and a bit, around $450!. I'm sure there are alternatives out there"
Oh and for those who haven't used it, if I recall correctly there's an expiry date on that puncture sealant can too
I might get a bottle of that True Blue Goo stuff that Charlie Brown mentioned and a decent puncture repair kit and hope to god I never have to use it!

Just on the MX5parts.co.uk site ordering a couple of sets of yellow stuff pads when I noticed that they have the replacements listed here
http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/accessories-f ... 6_192.html
Still bloody expensive for a can of goo, I prefer my Dynaplug

Yeah I seen that very expensive it is so which is why I'm steering more towards the repair kits
That Dynaplug stuff looks the goods would you have happen to of used it before? I have used the repair kits in the past and that makes it looks so easy which makes me think that is too good to be true

Re: Puncture Sealant Can (For NC)
I've used the Dynaplug 3 times in total on cars other than my MX5.
It works a treat even used it on a large hole which required 2 of the plugs to seal perfectly.
I have 2 now, the one in the MX5 fits easily into the tyre repair pouch and lives there.
I believe you can buy from a local supplier now though it might be more expensive than ordering direct.

You can get one of these types of kit (similar to Dynaplug) from Supercheap for about $15. http://www.ozab.com.au/goods-3411.html
I carry one in the MX-5.

Re: Puncture Sealant Can (For NC)
Do you need to jack up the car and remove the wheel to be able to use these plug kits? That'd be pretty difficult without a jack and wheelbrace ... so I'm guessing the answer is no.
Oh and it's a good idea to pack a set of pliers if you're relying on a roadside puncture repair. You'll need it to remove the nail/screw/rock/whatever that has caused the puncture. (He says having just checked the repair kit in his BMW and noticing it did not have a set of pliers! Does now. )
