From memory they're 15x7 all round, fronts are +26 plus a 5mm spacer to clear the brakes, rears are +13
175/50/15's I think

Re: Adam's Clubman
They'd scrub with unrolled guards and 195's, my 15x7 +17 Buddy Club P1's did when it was higher, they were why I rolled them the first time

I think we Adelaideans are due to catch up again...
I'm about to get a new toy too... possibly...

Think my mate has the same wheels on his VH45 silvia, they look great.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: Adam's Clubman
Just went and pulled the MX5 out of storage, went and washed it and checked the tyre pressures... I'd forgotten how nice it is to drive. Now I just need an easy way to get the hardtop off and lock it in my backyard so I can drive with the roof off. I used to be able to get it off on my own then get it in through the laundry but now theres an engine and recycling bins next to the car and only about 18 inches between my DR30 and the side wall so I cant carry it up there. I guess I could take the car around the front of the house and take the hardtop off there because I can get it straight into the house on that side...
Bought some SE front brakes, now working out if I need the rears as well (and maybe the master cylinder?) before I fit them

Re: Adam's Clubman
Just painted my Panasports, now they're not orange (aka flat black)
Might let them dry and put them on the car tomorrow

Any photos of the new wheels on your car Adam?

Re: Adam's Clubman
Lol there were three photos of my car and half a page I wrote, and I think AJ had a short interview in it as well
Okibi, I got out of bed about half an hour after you posted that and went straight outside to change the wheels over
I'll get some photos this afternoon hopefully, its a bit wet here atm and theres no room in my carport to get a decent photo

Re: Adam's Clubman
So they went from this
To this
Thanks to a can of flat black that has been sitting on top of my tumble dryer for a few years
The tyres that were on the SSR Mk3's were quite a bit lower in profile, 175/50/15's slightly stretched, so I had to jack the car up a bit higher to get these ones on after taking the Mk3's off haha. You can feel the difference driving it now too, because the gearing is effectively a bit longer now it loads it up as its coming on boost a bit more and consequently sounds growlier as it runs through first and second
