Australian MX5 sales according to Brian Long's book:
1989: 621 (NA6);
1990: 1446 (NA6);
1991: 746 (NA6);
1992: 502 (NA6);
1993: 453 (NA6 & NA8);
1994: 404 (NA8);
1995: 196 (NA8);
1996: 241 (NA8);
1997: 118 (NA8).
Of which in:
1990 300 were Neo Green & Tan LE;
1991 55 were Malibu Gold LE;
1993 100 were Classic Red & Tan LE;
1993 35 were Clubmans;
1994 144 were Clubmans;
1995 7 were Clubmans; &
1997 75 were Neo Green & Tan LE.

Amended numbers for 1995 & 1997 - previous number for 1997 was number imported as opposed to sold.

NA6, NA8, & NA8 Clubman all used the same spring - spring rate was 154/94 lbs/in.
Believe conversion is: 55.9 lbs/in = 1 kg/mm => 154/94 lbs/in = 2.8/1.7 kgs/mm.

The context is the MX5 Clubman, hence the title 'FAQ: Clubman'. The Clubman is an NA8, so this thread doesn't take into account the NA6. If it did then there would actually be a fifth option - that of the NA6 non-LE. NA8 (Clubman & non-Clubman) plated build dates commenced in Sep '93.

The Clubman was fitted with a black leather Nardi gear knob, that matched the black leather Nardi steering wheel, the same as all other Australian Domestic Market 1993 to 1995 NA8s.
The known differences between the Clubman & the standard NA8 are:
Bilstein dampers; & Torsen 1 LSD; & 20mm front anti-roll bar (versus 19mm on standard NA8);
Clubman sticker on passenger side of boot lid; when still present the drivers side door jam vehicle information sticker indicating "Suspension: Bilstein", "Grade: --------", & "Special Edition:" left blank. It's believed the tie rod ends/ Pitman arms on the Clubman are also different to the standard NA8 to take into account the lower spring perch of the Bilstein dampers. Some Clubmans had hollow or semi hollow spoke NA8 rims fitted, while others had solid spoke NA8 rims. Some standard NA8s likewise had hollow or semi hollow spoke NA8 rims fitted, while others had solid spoke NA8 rims.

Separately, first half of 2012 reportedly saw 71 sales - second half 2012 sales: NFI.

It also possible that the original source for the pitman arm reference in the above FAQ was referring to tie rod ends, given the term is occasionally interchangeable in the US.
The US '93 LE like the US R Package had Bilsteins factory fitted, hence the different tie rod ends used:

These tie rod end ball joints originally came on the 1993 LE and 1994-1995 R package, but will fit any 1989-2005 Miata.
They have a different angle to account for a lowered stance and correct for increased “bump steer".

It appears that the USDM Miata R Package cars may not have been fitted with a larger rear sway bar.
User 'Leafy' on CR checked Mazda Competition USA's parts listings and found that there's only one rear bar listed for all styles of NA.
There are two fronts listed, one has exclusive Bilstein in the description.

Tks - interesting. NA6 had a 12mm rear sway bar, while the NA8 had a 11mm. Indeed, I bought (& fitted) an NA6 12mm rear sway bar from Mr_Q on this forum who was parting out his old 1991 Neo Green LE NA6 after it was damaged back in 2006 & he bought the wreck:

I measured the two bars side by side back then & they were 11mm (NA8) & 12mm (NA6) & there is a slight difference to be noticed in driving in certain circumstances.
So I'm not sure why Mazda Comp only lists one size of rear sway bar for all NAs (as indicated at post # 57). Of course that said, it doesn't mean the US Miata R Package was definitely fitted with the 12mm bar. But it also doesn't mean it definitely wasn't (as per post # 58) due to their belief there was only one rear sway bar available.
