Went to EC skid pan yesterday, had a ball as per usual. You can skip to 1.26 and 4.03 for the runs of mine that got recorded in this video made by a mate in the blue 6 driving like a madman.

Looks like a lot of fun, pity each run is so short, should be 3 times longer as a minimum.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: My Bleck 8B
Headed out to Wakefield last weekend with the NSCC. The weather wasn't looking so good during the drive down with a few patches of sprinkling but once we got to the circuit, there was no sign of rain and the track was slippery but dry enough. Before lunch was the most ideal part of the day with me bettering my PB with a 1:15.001. FUUUUU! With that PB I knew I was going to smash out a 14 by the end of the day. Next session, my lap timer gave me a 14.9x and then the following lap came a 1:14.78 which was verified with natsoft's 1:14.777.
After that the sun came out and I got sunburnt as a result. Tried my best to better my new PB but with the heat around, the car just felt sluggish in the exits and down the straight so there wasn't much I could do except braking later and putting the power on earlier. Ended up with some low 15's and that's about the best I could do. Next time out, if I haven't gotten semi's yet, will be aiming for a low 14 which should be possible with this set up. Might need a more aggressive alignment though.
Some piccies.
My dad had fun too! Broke into the 16's with a 1:16.966

Love the red rims; IMO black rims "disappear into the tyre and wheel arch" and look too drab - I reckon if you've got great rims you want to be able to see them, not just when you get close up.
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!

Was taken in the carpark of a mates place. Helping another mate test fit some wheels hence the trolley jack .
