SLIQ PUTTY ROAD RUN

Meet: McDonalds at McGraths Hill
Date: Saturday 21st Thanks January, 2012
Times: 6.00am for 6.20am departure
Details: The opening BreakFast Club Run for 2012 is another edition of the ever popular summer drive up the Putty Road kept alive by ‘Sliq’ before he succumbed to the call of the west and gave the job to ‘BadBong’. This classic drive up the Putty Road to the Lower Hunter includes the challenging gorges before Milbrodale then across to the vineyards around Pokolbin via Broke for breakfast.

Breakfast will be made to order at Café Enzo, set in a Tuscan inspired village, among eclectic sandstone buildings in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Their menu can be accessed via the attachment here:

Cafe Enzo Current Breakfast Menu.docx

After breakfast you can get back to the city by lunch or enjoy a feast on fresh molluscs at Victor’s secret oyster farm followed by refreshments at PITS before the drive home.

RSVP: No registration required but you are asked to express you intention of joining the run by placing your name on the list that will be posted on this thread on the Forum to help with planning and catering. Please also indicate whether you will be having breakfast and/or oysters to help the organiser make the appropriate booking

Organiser & Run Leader: Victor Lee (BadBong) 0433 110 303 victor.k.b.lee@gmail.com

You're right Guran and I've mistakenly used an old template to copy and paste from - I'll contact the Mods to make that change.

Can't wait! Put me down and hopefully the car's owner will also get to do some driving. :)

The lure of the oysters and wine and pies and the twisty bits - mmm!
Will we see early-morning Apu at the start?
