Has anyone painted NA console and stereo surround?

Hey guys,
Considering painting my center console and stereo surround gloss black.

Has anyone done this?
How does it look if finished well?

Check Biilybunters' garage thread regarding painting the console. I haven't seen a local NA painted though.There may be some where consoles were painted tan.

Maybe clubroadster.net? Or Google some NA painted consoles.

there was a post about painting and it added some links to painting of PC equipment. There is no reason you cannot paint it ( ie plastic substrates) - consider using a VHT or similiar vinyl dye in spray can. Having a good bond is essential.
