NB seatbelt warning light disconnect..

NB seatbelt warning light disconnect..
Took out the seats (new covers) and found the driver's side has a cable with a white connector under the seat front which I had to undo. It's the seatbelt warning reminder .Thought ...why not leave it undone? I don't need the warning ....seems to have removed the dash dial icon warning ok, but could there be other factors in doing this?

If you d/c it the sound stops, mine isnt connected and causes no known issues

yep just stops the beeping. one of the first things i did when i got my NB
MY07 NC, Mazdaspeed Body, Ohlins, Full GWR Exhaust, 17x9 RPF1's, 4.1FGR and lots lots more
