2005 NC limited edition rims question.

Postby mrunlimited » Tue Nov 15, 2011 9:20 pm

Can someone please tell me if these rims are 'shadow chrome' finish or 'forged alloy' - I have slight damage to one and have been told that the forged alloy rims can't be repaired.
I called Mazda and all they could tell me was that the replacement rim was listed as 'bright' finish.

Not forged alloy to my knowledge. The stock rims aren't.

There are a few mobile repair companys around that can do the repair work at home.
Let us know what it costs as I have one I need fixed also.

Yes, they come to your home and do it, have been quoted $300 per wheel - cheaper than replacing it at $680.
