Hey Guys,
Today i thought ill replace my aircon belt, well more then replace i thought ill put one on as the previous owner had it cut off(the belt). So i took the pulley off and put on the belt and went back and tightened everything but i have a problem where the pulley's back is now touching the bracket on which is sits. I have looked everywhere and im 100% that nothing has fallen off or lost from my perspective.
So what i did was attach two images showing the mount and the parts i have. Can any1 assist in telling me what im missing or what im doing wrong?
Thats the mount the pulley was on.
And these are the parts i have minus the belt.
any help would be great .
Pok.

If any1 knows what goes behind the pulley to keep it free spining rather then touching the bracket that would be even more useful.

Mazda dealer or a Mazda wrecker, although the wrecker is probably only likely to sell the complete assembly unless they've got an unserviceable one. Worth contacting James at the MX5 Centre <http://www.mx5centre.com.au/>, but I don't think they stock used parts since they moved. There are Mazda wreckers in Clayton & Dandenong that have MX5 parts, & I'm sure there are others around the Melb suburbs, but I just don't know their location.
