So im testing the guage now. If anyone else wants to get hands on Id appreciate if you would do the follOwing.

Remove the parcel shelf carpet. Remove the metal cover with 6 screws in it. Its shaped like a hatchback sillhouette. (spelling I know).

You will see the top of the fuel tank. The electrical connector has 4 wires on it.

The yellow wire and the black wire below it are for the level sender. The other 2 are the pump.

Could somebody please disconnect it and turn the ignition on. The guage should go to empty. Now bridge those 2 pins with a paperclip and the guage should go to full.

Can somebody please confirm this?

Thanks.

Better yet if anyone knows the resistance specs on the sender that would be great. Right now Im banking on empty being 0 ohms and full tank being infinite ohms.

Thanks,

Awesome. I jumped it to display full tank, and manually set the needle at full tank. Then when I plugged it back in it displayed about the amount of petrol I think is right.

Ill PM you if it isnt right. :D
