Yeah guess we have the same goals dean :)

That's the debate though isn't it? Stretched vs regular, you get real fitment with stretched but negatively affects your performance. Maybe a thinner tyre than your mentioned combo may accommodate +35?

Does anyone know the specs on guy_coles RPF1's? Love his car, looks very schmick

Guy_Coles and Coffeeboss both run rpf1 in 17x8 +45 with 215/45 rubber. Flush no guard roll.

That's balanced form and function :) if you visit the lowdown forums then form will be their major concern.

My friend ash's gs300, used as a daily driver.
Ash says, "this is flush"
The car is surprisingly comfortable inside too :)!! Anything is possible.

V nice GS300 ^

if your wanting to go similar spec wheels to me, your going to need to go 225 45, they don't make lower than 45 in the 225 range. It is barely a stretch - 225 = 8.86 inch

People will argue all day about whats best for performance, at the end of the day it is a daily drive, a 225 tyre will handle exceptionally well and exceed our driving abilities. Just make sure you get quility tyres.

Hey guys, just a quick update

After hearing non stop about Voodoo gearknobs I decided to grab one as I knew how much difference a simple gearknob could make to the feel of a car. Luckily a forum member was selling one in mint condition and this also saved me the drive to Hornsby (mx5mania). After purchasing the gearknob I decided it was time to take another attempt at fixing the roof creaks and rattles. This time I got some auto grease as mentioned by forums and a member here. I applied the grease to the forks that hold the roof to the bit above the windscreen and voila! No more rattles! :) I'm so happy with the car at the moment, no more frustrating rattles, just smooth quiet driving :)
