Testing or removing the EGI relay

Postby devski » Tue Oct 25, 2011 3:53 pm

Hey guys.
Ive tried searching around but I actually have no idea on how to remove the EGI relay.

As some of you would know my mx5 is doing some rather strange things, lack of power, miss firing. yada yada.

At the moment we are thinking ECU or EGI relay as the cause.
Opened up my fuse box and my fan fuse was heavily corroded. Not really sure why but as a result Im keen to check the EGI relay.

Any instructions on removal / testing?

Removal:
Pulls out, although feels like it won't, so you might need to move it back & forth & side to side a bit.

Testing:
