I, plan to use these as high beam switched driving lights, as such I believe they are completely legal?
Their attraction will be their (hopefully cheap) cost and low current consumption.
The beam pattern aims far too high for normal use from what I can see, but in a twisty forest section with no on coming traffic I care alot more about where the road goes and what wild life is about than beam cut offs.
