Hello,
Been on the forums for a month or 2 now. Gotta say i love community. Last month i purchased a lovely little Red NA mx5 that had a bad case of the skin flaks. Wasnt a problem for me as the engine, box and drive train was in perfect working order. Interior is also in awesome condition for a car of 20 years.
Here are just some basic shots.
So what have we done:
1 - Red Mx5 Convertible 1990 NA 1.6ltr.
2 - New oil + filters and gaskets.
3 - Intake modified and secured with brackets.
4 - 14" Lightweight Black Racing (watanabe replica) ( Thanks TOM) .
5 - 185/50/80v 14" Kumho Ku31's being put on in 1.5 weeks. ( thanks MWG).
What needs to be done:
1 - 22mm front sway bar + 16mm rear sway bar.
2 - Removal of stock exhaust and replaced with a high flow system including headers.
3 - BC Racing coilovers.
4 - Style Bar in Chrome.
5 - Powder coat rims to matt black or something funky.
6 - Replace all faulty bushes.
7 - Detail Rocker Cover.
It's a big project but god im enjoying every minute of it.
How do i attach images from flickr ?

I know exactly how you feel
Had a few mx5 in the last 4 years and my current na6. There is something about them that I keep coming back buying them.
Come to the Thursday Garage cafe one day to catch up with us.

So on the weekend i've been busy with the car, i finally had time to get my Kumho Ku31 put onto the car.
Took the car with me for work upto Roachford Wineries, was a terrible drive up with the rain and all. On the way back it was wonderful, and no traffic so i had a blast coming back down. The roads where pretty wet how ever i was amazed by how much grip the ku31's posses. It was amazing. I was so confident in the cars handling and braking. I feel so stupid for not getting an mx5 sooner .
