The Mcca would like to extend an open invitation to everyone in Melbourne & Victoria that has an interest in cars & charity & would like to do a good deed this Christmas. The 7th annual Christmas toy run appeal is on again this year starting from North Wharf Rd, North Wharf, Docklands (just behind Etihad Stadium) at 9am on the 11th of December.
This event is a toy raising activity where we invite everyone to polish up their cars & bring at least one toy per person along (car full's are more then welcome) for a drive to the Smith Family warehouse (located at the show grounds). We then drive through the warehouse car by car donating all the toys we have brought along. The toys are then distributed out to all the needy children in Victoria via the Smith Families network of volunteers. We ask that only new toys are donated & the toys are for ages ranging from 0-12 y.o, especially requiring ages 9-12.From there we will be holding the annual MCCA Christmas party where a free sausage sizzle will be held for anyone that would like to attend (please RSVP).
Maps will be distributed on the day for everyone that pre confirms. This can be done by emailing mazdacarclub@gmail.com, or visiting MCCA Annual Christmas Toy Run Appeal on facebook. Car clubs & forums are very welcome but please make contact via mazdacarclub@gmail.com to coordinate.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
