URGENT HELP!!!!! mongoose mx40 immobiliser!!!!!!!!

So I found my Immobiliser in the car. It's mongoose mx40 mk2 immobiliser/alarm, connected to a Moss Security remote central lock.
Some friends and I were looking at it today trying to find a bypass for the annoying immobiliser on the car.

We pulled out a red fuse on what we thought was the immobiliser (ended up being the Moss Security MS-718 remote central). Unfortunately this did nothing. We plugged the fuse back in. After doing this, the remote no longer disarms the alarm/immobiliser. The fuse has been checked and it's in almost new condition so it's obviously not this, we've pulled it out and put it in a number of times so it's definately not a case of not putting it in right either.

We tried resetting the ecu on the car, brand new batteries on the button fob key thing etc but do no avail. It looks like this system doesn't have a bypass switch.
Instead, it's a programmed pin. The problem here is that this was on the car before I bought it, so I have no idea where the system was installed or what that pin is to reprogram/pair the remote button with the system.

I called the previous owner but to no avail. This thing was on the car before they bought it and do not have the details the the owner before them and nor do I.
I'll be calling Mongoose Security tomorrow morning and giving them the serial number and model unit and hoping to god there is a factory reset pin I can enter as a failsafe. But sadly I doubt they'll give it to me since I have no way of proving to them over the phone that I didn't just steal the car and looking for a way to start it.

Does ANYONE know this system and how to take it out? I just lost my job and can't afford an auto-electrician to look at it and the car is stranded 2.5 hours from where I live. I've had to take the train home tonight and the car is parked at a mates place.
I'm at my wits end and no idea what to do. The only thing I can think of is downloading a wiring diagram and rewiring everything back to standard, though I know NOTHING about electronics and don't have much faith in my ability to do this. I talked to a neighbour at my friends house only to hear when he removed his on his BMW, it took 12 or so hours...

PLEASE HELP ME!! This is my only car :frown:

I stripped the Immobiliser out of Dale's car not long after he bought it. I found the black box and traced the two wires from the immobiliser relay to the back of the ignition switch. There were another couple of wires breaking into other ignition circuits here too. I simply cut out the wires and rejoined all the four original ignition wires at the back of the ignition switch. This is fairly straight forward as they are all colour coded, just match the colours.

If yours is done in a similar way you can do the same thing to get it going and then strip out all the unwanted wiring later. (the alarm box was mounted up high under the dash on the right hand side of the steering wheel).

Progress. I called the company and they assured me there is a 4 digit pin printed on a sticker on the inside of the control box for the alarm system.

Good news bad news everyone!

So the bad news, the code wasn't in the case... There was a code embossed onto the lid but ended up being just a serial number. So Lee tried the factory default code. Bingo! it works.

So good news is that the car starts XD. I am BEYOND happy now! On a down note though, the system still doesn't recognise my remote. Trying a method to get it to join the system but doubful about results.

At the end of the day, big success. I can now drive the car home. As soon as I get the car back tomorrow, I'll be putting into the garage first thing and pulling this STUPID system out. All of it. From what I understand it's just a matter of following all the black immobiliser wires up to the loom where they splice onto factory Mazda wiring. Since the Mazda wiring is colour coded it should be as simple as matching red with red and blue with blue etc.

I have to say though, this is the worst mod I've ever seen on a car. I understand the idea is to stop intruders from driving off with the car but if the system trips like mine, then you can't even use your OWN car!!!! ridiculous.... I'm happy this happened though, after finding the wires scattered just under the carpet in the footwells; it's not to hard to imagine standing on them and crushing the fuse or even snapping a wire with a careless foot. Especially since I had no idea this was even there.
So I'm glad this happened at a mates place because it could have been in some woop woop place way out and I'd be stranded for godknows how long.
