This is an interesting video, with a good commentary, about a lap of Spa in a MX5 'GT'. It could have been the fabled Lada Superleggeria Turbo for all you can see of the car , but I will take their word for it.
It brings the circuit into a perspective that we weekend warriors can understand and appreciate a bit better than Seb's pole-winning laps ...

135mph - 216kmh, so he's moving along pretty well and it's a good big circuit for an MX5. I like the bit about staying disciplined through the sweeper - shades of the Southern Loop at Phillip Island.

Think I have some videos of MX-5s racing at spa in the late 90s.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
