POD Filter Whistle

Postby 25GTV » Mon Sep 26, 2011 5:53 pm

Hey guys I recently put a pod filter on my NB8A mx5. Now if I crack the throttle open it makes a whistle sound... Has anyone else had this and how did you fix it?

Cheers guys

I know the noise made by the IAC but this is a whistle only when the throttle is cracked open fast. I expected there to be some extra noises but this whistle is too annoying. Has anyone had the same issue?

Yup leaks in the intake runner, pipe from the cam cover vent or where the pod attaches to the AFM might cause a whistle, I guess some weird brand of pod might whistle too.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
