NA6 to NA8 conversion advice please..

Hey guys need some help. Just bought a NA8 halfcut and doing the conversion this weekend. Any potential problems that I could run into?

Legality/registering
Wiring loom differences (you swapping the full loom over?)

To the OP,
Please read this -> FM 1.8 Conversion FAQs.

Not sure why you would swap the entire loom over unless you suffer the dreaded situation where the 1.6 ECU does not control the 1.8 injectors over the entire rev range.

"Why" would be the legality aspect, from when I discussed this with an engineer once. Definitely not the practical or easy thing to do though.
