Hi,

I'm looking to create a custom firmware for MX5 users that will include special support for AC idle up improvements plus any other additions or behaviors that would suit our engines.

As such, keen to gather thoughts or opinions....

It's a good idea. You will want to add a delay before engaging the compressor and/or fans so the idle up happens first. I've been working with Adaptronics lately but from memory around 800ms works well?
