NA would just use a different Metra/Sosche DoubleDIN kit, otherwise most of the rest would be the same
Looking into a few different options for the hardware (while working ;) ), I've managed to find a few parts that will be a definite improvement over what I've currently got. One of the slowest parts about turning on the PC at the moment is actually the POST sequence the BIOS goes through. If I was to replace this with a motherboard that supports UEFI, we can take this to only a second. That would put us somewhere near 6-10 seconds from off to playing music if the software is configured correctly. Who knows, it could be better, but that'd take further stuffing around, and without the hardware at the moment I can't test it. Depending on the cost for this hardware I might just buy it and test, using the old motherboard for a HTPC at home or something.
GPS has been mailed from Queensland yesterday morning, so with a bit of luck it'll be here today or tomorrow!
