Why does paulf, the only non mx5 owner yet to comment, know that only a rover v8 is legal but nothing else is..?

i can do heaps of swaps.. but id rather keep the 1.6 that came with the car. even though its the nb engine its still a 1.6

just something id rather keep.
NA6 - Longnose engine, JR cai, full custom exhaust, BC coilovers, NA8 front brakes, frog arms, cusco cage, secret element tie rods

Being a non production engine, probably not. Personally, Id take a sleeved 1UZ, down to 3.8 or whatever the law says.

Maybe get a Engine crane, NA service manual, and backyard Mechanic and just do it yourself.

Manifold and dump pipe im using is a Lovefab one off from the US. These guys build 1000rwhp nsx's. The manifold is awesome and will take anything i give it :D
gonna send all these pieces off to get ceramic coated when i get the turbo so i can send the tial rear housing with it..
