Heres Pics,
Ill edit this post later with some info. But for now Im in a hurry.
This can of course be routed under the brake booster for even more OEM looking stealth.
Please post any thoughts.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Awesome job Dann! Well done mate. A suggestion: is there any way to rotate the COPs by ninety degrees so that the cables can lay parallel in the camcover valley, in the same way as the OEM plug cables? Is the alloy strap necessary? I guess it's there to stop the COPs jumping out?

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Unfortunately not.
You cant see in these pictures, but the coils have a lug opposite the plug and to the left, that extends 20mm at 30* to that corner, they simply dont physically fit parallel with the cam cover, this way also allows more room for strut braces.
Anything else you can suggest mate?
Dann
Ps, edit: Missed an answer, the alloy strap is 100% necessary, the coils pop out otherwise, you can use the aforementioned lugs to bolt them down if you drill and tap the cam cover, but people demand a 100 percent PnP system so here it is. In the final version the alloy playe will be wider and made of carbon.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Looks incredible.
Would it be possible to have the loom run down between the middle runner of the intake manifold then just hide it away under the fuel lines etc?
Would love for it to be even more stealth (OEM) looking?
But seriously that looks fantastic.
Great JOB!

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Dweezle if you request your setup to have long wires between the plugs and the main loom, Im happy to oblige, Ill use my car as a base and produce yours longe enough to only see a single long bit that runs from each coil down under the mani. Just shoot me a PM if thats how you want it.

ERRRR ahhhhhhh HMMMMMM ....!!!!!
yeah, ignore me... That would look wierd now i think about it having 4 long wires.
It looks like you would be able to run it under the CAS, and then under the master cylinder like you said.
I think that would look better the more i think about it.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
This is how mine will be. Mine has a slightly longer secondary (in between the plugs and main loom) wires and goes under not the cas, but to the left of it. Then under the Booster etc. Look at page 1 of this thread for an idea. That one is ROUGH. really quick first try job.
As I said, I installed my last test unit yesterday, Give it a week, then ill put up the eoi so I can bulk order them, but yes, they will be under 250 a PnP set. Na6 only at this stage as no one with an na8/nb has approached me asking to have a cost price test setup...

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Update:
Ok so the car is back together, suspension on and diff/engine/gearbox all good and ready, It can even be dríven atm :O
So what ive done since it ran out of rego.
Engine/box out
Replaced all seals
Retensioned timing belt
Measured lifter clearances (all good)
Diff out
Replaced diff seals
70 odd kilo more weight stripped out
Fab'd the sparco seat rails
Solid, adjustable engine mounts
New exhaust tip (lol)
Solid diff mounts
Full energy suspension poly master kit
Brake ducts (like a boss, because racecar)
COPS
Radiator ducting
Repainted interior (also lol)
Rerouted coolant (not traditional)
New ecu cover/kickpanel (aluminium, lighter)
Still to do
Waiting for Hawk Blue brake pads to show up
Replace brake fluid with pernite SIN (600c+)
Organise some damn semi's
Wheel alignment
New hi-res fuel map (possibly, if I can be bothered)
Perhaps weld up some extra under bracing.

All we need is a producer from one of the networks and we'd have our own version of "Chop Shop" or some similar programme!
Keep up the good work Dann! There's that old saying "Necessity is the mother of all creation" and you're the closest person I know that lives to that!

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
So the whole car is completely reassembled, but Ive found an issue, tacho fixed, so are the headlights movement, but turning the lights on does silly things to the dash. Ill have to do a little more testing.
My brake pads might not show up before the 4th sept, so fingers crossed.
I can really feel the weight difference a LOT, and the seat feels great.
Its pretty quick, but still needs the pads and an alignment. I really dont need the dash working on sunday, but a temp guage/oil pressure guage would be nice.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
So today I aligned it, I couldnt get it near where I wanted it, It both not low enough, and bent as.
Ah, well. Ill have to buy some new components and make some stuff up when I get my tig soon.
I also have a sticky right rear brake, I think I adjusted the handbrake up too much.
But, its fully functional driving nicely and damned loud.
Sept 4th here I come!

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Yep it was the handbrake adjustment, backed it off a bit and its good.
Im a little annoyed at the bloke who tried to 'help' me with my alignment.
In his infinite wisdom he has turned my steering wheel a little to the left to compensate for the slope on the road. This is the norm in a car alignment but my car has solid everything, and poly bushes everywhere, and no steering play, and its aligned dead straight, its no aligned to steer straight on a road sloped to the left, so now my steering wheel is aimed 4-5 degrees left... Grr.
Lesson learned, when you want it done right, and you are doing it yourself, make damned sure you stick to the rule 100%

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
I feel I should say here that although I admittedly haven't been directly exposed to many quick cars, this is by far the fastest car I've been in - let alone dríven. Huge fun. Can't wait to get it out at Wakefield and see what it can do; I just hope that I can keep up with it.
