Hey guys. I'll have the final price up this avo. I've got quite a bit on today.
So you know, I just dropped my NB into Mazda, and they were amazed at how good the key looked, and how their equivalent to buy was about $400! He even offered to print off the programming guide for new keys! I might grab that anyway.

On a side note, always had great service at John Newell Mazda in Alexandria. No affiliation.

Sorry but I only need one. Not sure how I would have needed another.
They are a great thing, so I'd expect you would get another one or two orders here from locals. I will ask around!

As a side note I wonder if anyone is interested in combining the key with a CF wrap? Just FYI, since you can find them on eBay and it might interest you if you like a little bling. I think I will DIY it but it might be worth all or some of us doing this off one template and one A4 or A3 CF wrap sheet.

Just an idea after the GB is closed.

I've seen this too. I'm pretty meticulous with stuff like that, so I could probably do it.
The wrap is pretty cheap, so I might grab some if you're interested. I personally am not a fan of the carbon look, but love getting my hands on stuff like this.

I might grab a few spares, this will bring the price down again.

This buy closes today, I've decided, or else it'll drag on longer than it already has. I will send out postage options and do it all for you options via pm tomorrow.

This price won't change now, as I'll need to get about another 10 before it's still worth their while. Please note, I'm not making any money out of this, and doing it solely out of the goodness of my heart. Please also note, that this is possibly the last goodness that is actually IN my heart.

As for the others, remember, this does not currently include the key cutting. I still have to see if this is viable with my friend, as he is a very busy person.
However, the keys can be cut by pretty much anyone who can cut keys.

No, the part no one likes to talk about. Money.
We can do this one of two ways. You deposit money into my account, and I use that to buy. The problem here is that if not everyone pays, it will hold things up longer, and could change the cost.
OR, I pay up front, and show you it's been paid for, therefore showing I'm not going to do a runner. However, a few of you know where I live anyway, so it's not like I'm going to go anywhere. Plus Reggie already has the "first" key. This could lead me to be out of pocket, but I could potentially re-sell them. We could do COD in this case, if it's easier.

I'm not doing a poll... but what would you guys prefer?

I'll do all the modding on the cases that need to be done, and put together a how to or whatever, and if you need two, or three buttons.

In my PM, I'll include pickup to delivery options, or if we are going to 'make a day of it', as someone suggested.

Anyway. Let me know your ideas, and I'll buy them!

Just a suggestion. You say you are not going to make any money out of it. But you will be spending time on each key.

I see the price is down to $11.20 or so. Just charge a flat $15 and make a few bucks off each key...Im very sure all the guys will be happy with that, as if you went to Mazda they would want money in the triple digits.
