Re: Sparco Sprint V - Bottom Thread - Size and Depth
I always thought they were the same as the factory seats?
My OBX (fake sparco) was anyway.

Thanks!
Found that out last night when I was installing the seat.

Thought I'd revive this thread for the benefit of those that bought the seat from the recent group buy!

Re: Sparco Sprint V - Bottom Thread - Size and Depth
I need a bolt for the sealt belt stalk (actually, harness)...but it's the same size, but an odd size - 11mm apparently.
Repco didn't have the size - anyone know where I can get one?
I also found that I needed to bend the bracket for the seat belt mount slightly as it would foul on the seat itself. And uh...don't bend it too much or it will foul on the transmission tunnel. I didn't do that, but it was pretty close to being a tight squeeze for the harness.

Pretty sure it's 7/16-20 UNC (ie 7/16ths of an inch diameter, 20 threads per inch, UNC thread form)

grab one at a hardware shop, or sneak one away from a workshop!
there's places where you can buy a box of 20 fairly cheap or so, though having 19 spare would be silly

I went to Repco and they only had 10 or 12 mm
I'm sure I'll locate one somewhere else. Will try Bunnings tomorrow.

Also try race shops like Meridian Motorsport, they tend to have a few sorts of harness/seat bolts.
also, doesn't the seatbelt bolt need to be a high tensile one?

Yup I picked up some high tensile ones for the seat/rails but didn't have the right size for the belt stalk.

Thanks for the tip guys! It is a 7/16 bolt and I picked some up from Mitre10.

Re: Sparco Sprint V - Bottom Thread - Size and Depth
Apologies for digging up an old thread, but...
I'm struggling to find somewhere that can sell me some M8 x 1.25 high tensile bolts. I've tried my usual local haunts (bunnings, Repco, Supercheap, etc) and even some online Aussie fastener suppliers, but no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction around Sydney or online?
Thanks!
