I only saw his Cima at the time, pretty sure it was off BRACED though. The brace stayed on my NA when i sold it to a Canadian bloke who's probably now driving it into the ground. :(

just looked at the loom pics, was going to suggest making a loom jig if you were going to do a lot.a mate of mine used to do a lot of triumph and ducati rewires and would staple big bulldog clips on where he needed to hold unruly bundles of wire.
looks good.

the ones for the bikes were just like yours complete with nails, just a bit bigger, more wires and bends in a bike loom, hence the bulldog clips.thats why I said it looks good.
he worked as a tech for telecom(now called telstra)and most loom jigs there were painted and colour coded etc for mass production.when he was a teacher, his apprentices had to do a lot neater work than he ever did.
triumphs and older ducatis had piss poor wiring.whenever any of us bought one(ive still got one I bought in 1982) it would be one of the first jobs we would do.
joe lucas was called the prince of darkness

and if you see a black piece of charcoal hanging from a light fitting its called an italian electrician.

Hey guys, a little update. Still getting it ready for the track. This is to replace diff mounts and all bushes.

This morning I got the diff out and the rear suspension arms off. Only took 1.5 odd hours.

And heres a hot of my midpipe incase anyone wanted to see. Had to get it out to make removing the diff easier.

Update Re Coilpacks

The last of the test setups has been made.
Its on a forum members car and Im very happy how it came out. Its the same one as the recent photos, using my harness board to make it, using all the highest quality harness hardware.

Ill get to a PC tomorrow to upload the pics.

Being a test setup, this car does NOT have the carbon fibre hold down, but does have an identical setup, using aluminium, so use your imagination.

The first 2 test cars report over 10% better fuel economy.

Any questions please dont hesitate to ask.

Ill confirm the price tomorrow after ive finalised the carbon fibre machine work price. :D

Also I still want to get peoples opinion on the final installation. Ie: tomorrow people will get to see exactly what their setup will look like albeit with an alloy strap and chrome acorn nuts, rather than carbon and anodised aluminium nuts. And they can tell me whether they like how it looks or what it will include etc.

But we are looking at under 250 with really nice carbon stainless and anodised aluminium hardware, with brand new coils. Which is 50 dollars cheaper (before shipping!) than buying a kit from the states and MUCH fancier, and doesnt use second hand coils.

I have recieved many a Pm so I have a good idea. Ill open THAT thread in about a week.

I appreciate that your interested, as are many.
I also greatly appreciate everyones patience.

Ill post pics of the setup, minus the CF tomorrow when im near a PC for everyone.
Im sure youll all love them, but as I said, they wont be put up for sale till im -sure- every single part is spot on.

If it helps, every single person who has tested these, even if only for aa afternoon, has either bought my personal sets (I have none for myself lol) or has their name at the top of the list
