Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Little update:
mums car threw a rod and ill have to fix it.
So my car had to get back together to move it out of the shed.
Its fully together but lacks gearbox and diff oil. Still able to be dríven in and out of my drive.
Still needs the diff out to install solid mounts, and all the arms off to replace the bushes. And an alignment, and some hawk blues.
I ran it up my driveway with open extractors this morning, nothing like a race cammed twin cam with no pipes in the morning
yep the neighbours love me.
Also ill note that you shouldnt take your car to a macdonalds style chain store garage for any work ever. She recently have 2 front tyres fitted, and trying to remove then 3 out of 8 studs snapped right off. I was only using a wheel brace.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
You remove the hub preferably.
Then you simply hammer the old stud out and the new one in.

QUICK COPS UPDATE
Hey guys here is the last one being used for testing, half way through building it.
Built a loom board so I can make these very neat.
This is all expensive self amalgamating heat shrink.
All tape used is Nitto OEM quality electrical tape.

Looking good Dann, over time if ur doing alot of these you'll find that its a good idea to paint the board white. As that you may get sick of looking at the brown.
Looking good & I'm keen on a set

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
I had an RS*R strut brace that was probably on your car a few years ago. < really cool story.
This is probably the most interesting thread on the forum.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Sweet.
Did it live on a neat blue(?) nb at some point?
I suspect many people have used it. I broke 2 engine mounts in the period it was in, so it got a hard time.
Chriss has it on his neat JDM na6 now.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Maybe not the same red/orange RS*R front strut brace. I bought the brace from the little asian guy in St Kilda before he sold the car...
It doesn't matter.
Keep up the awesome work, I'll be watching
