I agree with you Josh. My post was aimed at our friend giving us a "history lesson".

A. I mean, you could argue that every 5 spoke wheel with this basic design is a knock off of Cooper minilites... But look at these next to a Watanabe wheel, ffs... Pretty hard to spot the difference on first glance.
Because that's what Rota do! They take something that sells well and copy it so the average person can't tell the difference and goes for the cheaper option...

Hell ,Josh i hope you have someone countersigning the counting of the patient's pills when you are in the ward if you think these are a 5 spoke wheel!!

I have always loved the 8 spoke Minilite type and have had various versions overthe years;Enkie compe 8's on my rally lancer; Performance Contessa's on a Mini; Black Racing , Wats and Chapparals on Mxs, and bought a few Rota rb's in for other people.

Timeless classic.

Stumbled upon some info about these on Club Roadster. Still not a fan but some people might be interested!

They will come out in 15x8 +0 as well as 15x9 +36 in 4x100. 17 x 8.5 +10, 17 x 9.5 -5 5x114.3 will also be available.

So far, matte bronze will be the only colour available to 15". However these will only be sold domestically in the Philipines unless specifically ordered.

To those concerned about weight, be prepared for a shock. These weigh in with tyres fitted at a staggering 16kg!!!!!!

clearly says with tyre fitted above.

195 50 15 re11 weigh 20 pounds.

that makes the wheel 6.91kgs which is not THAT bad for a 15 x 8.

its about 1.3kgs heavier than the 6UL's.
98 evo gold - rotrexed and loving it.

LOL if you think rb's look better, you need your eyes checked.... BUT everyone likes different things and this would be one boring ass world if we all thought the same
I have my views on these things and other people have theirs. I respect that (hence adding info to help lol). But it really sucks that these will be philino only....
That's going to alienate a massive potential market.
I honestly wouldn't mind picking a set of these up for my sisters Ef Civic haha
