Great pics and story here.

I'd love to book my Clubman into Babs', for your opinions sometime!
Seeing two Clubmans along with that immaculate Datsun is something very special.

Loving the details like those door pulls on your car. I think you'd find my ones interesting!

Sunny Winter Driving

found myself making most of this glorious sunny sort of winter weather by visiting the PITS with some great company.

We started at Pablo&Rusty's for a quick hot beverage.

Image

Image

Once we warmed our belly, we headed off for the freeway to escape suburbia and into the open road.

Image

Image

We made a few pass along the Old Pacific Highway before we made our intended break at the PITS

Image

Image

After devouring our scrumptious PITS pie, I found a way to burn some calories - take pics of my companions cars on all fours and work out the arms and legs.

I found that no matter what happened last night, what time I got home this morning and how early we woke up....Today is a good day, a roadsterlife day!

Birthday like no other experienced before
part 1

Sometime last year, the day before the day of my berth, a few of my closes friend organised a trackday to celebrate Coffeeboss and my birthday.

It was the first time I've organised a trackday before so alot of learning and organising had to be done before the great day. I realised that a month and a half was not really that much notice but I knew the problem was not how many will come but what will everyone wear being it is the Halloween weekend when the trackday is held.

And on the day, my friends did not disappoint

Love it.

Love the decals too. That would've taken a lot of effort!

Birthday like no other experienced before
part 2

The day started with everyone trickling in small groups showing off their costumes and a few of us decalling the mx5s. (special thanks to Brendan and Melvin for organising the decals)

This pic doesn't give you a whole picture - EPIC battle between the Bab's Hako, Rob's Turbo NA8 and John's NB SP. EPIC BATTLE IS EPIC.

The highlight for me is when Babalouie took me for a ride in my car - he drifted it around the whole track. Everytime I think of it gives me a grin from ear to ear. She was back on her elements, and gave me a big suprise how much potential she has on the right hands. IT WAS EPIC, to bad a friend of mine overwritten the video of it - doh.

Most bestest birthday eva!

"CoCo on Toast"

After seeing the quality of the CoCo Mats purchased by Babalouie for his porky, I decided to try it out as well especially knowing how good our dollar against the USD.

Toaster being a white car with black and chrome/brush aluminium highlights, I decided to order a set in black with silver/grey highlights.

Cocomats Team was very helpful and very prompt on when the product will be built, dispatched and expected date of delivery. They were a day early on the delivery but I ain't complaining.

Image

Just the packaging is quality already.

Image

Was soo excited opening the oversize envelope.

Image

Quality stitching...coco husk goodness.

I should clean Toaster's cabin first before them CoCo's spread on her.

Hmm, just read this and was immensely entertained.

From the title and first pages this reads as an existential journey through the heart and soul of a car nut. Probably with the emphasis on the word nut, but in a nice way. I hope you aren't offended if I suggest that you may work in Information Technology.

Extra marks are awarded for a Lexus named 'The Banana'. :D

BUT I can't understand how you let the red centred SSRs slip away (must have been the ones you didn't like). This car was made for those wheels. Enkeis/Watanabe are all very nice but this car needs those SSRs.

I am also thinking white JDM ducktail rear spoiler. Too much, or just right for that sexy rear end, I can't decide.

Be sure to amputate your ring finger as a penance for not getting the SSRs.

cheers Aussie_Stig

I am in IT, quite like it.

You are not the only one that believe the SSR was made for this car, Babalouie even gave me an ear full or two for not keeping especially when he custom order that set. I'm eyeing out for a 15" track wheel now or something in the line of MTE37 (if I can find one)

I was considering a duck tail but not feeling it anymore. I like how the whole car stance at the moment, just enjoying the drive.
