So remove the intake piping and into the butterfly? Just to confirm, I spray it at the blue arrow, in the direction of the manifold or the pipe?

Spray into the intake manifold via throttle body with the butterfly held open, & via the opening into the intake manifold where the PCV valve pipe attaches.

I used a can of this on my 245,000km NA8 a couple months ago. It made lots of smoke so I guess there was quite a bit of carbon build up in there. The engine now feels smoother (less vibration) and more eager to rev. I didn't have to adjust my idle RPM at all.

Engine is so much smoother after the application!

But while revving it there was smoke coming out from the right of the engine! I guess there's a vaccum leak somewhere... :S

This stuff is how the mechanic gets your car running so nice so easy.

Yes it will hit the cat but it will burn off in 5 mins.

As Dann said above, and yes i'm keen to do it next weekend if you are up for it.

ATM Sunday i'm doing some odd jobs with Victor AKA Badbong for his SP. But it's not a big sidetrack, i'll get some cans from the Suburu at Lindfield midweek :)

I'll be there, so will Apu (i think as he needs to beat my times) and hopefully Hamx5ter. At the moment, Badbong won't be at the track meet unless he states otherwise, his cars to beautiful to track!
