Stock Airbox Mods

Postby specmiata » Tue Jul 19, 2011 1:18 pm

G'Day guys,

Tried to a search on this topic but couldn't find anything....

I want to try and get the stock airbox of my NA6 flowing better, is there better quality filters?, internal mods? that can be made to make it flow better.

Don't want to go down the CAI track.

Thx. TSM

KN airfilter, also I've heard the snorkel is fairly restrictive due to its small awkward bend. Get rid of that and should help it free flowing a bit better (critation needed..)

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Okibi provided the link. I wouldnt have with that response. You asked, i gave all the info youd ever need, so you only needed to put in 5 mins effort to find it. I was on a phone so couldnt paste a link directly.
Its ok I wont help again.

Pretty sure that Dann is trying to say that he interpreted the “thanks....” as a sarcastic one. I’ll admit I did too on first reading so I can’t totally fault him. His response probably wasn’t the best way to go about it, but I can see his logic.

Mountains out of mole hills here but do others see the same difference between-

Thanks guys. & Thanks guys......
