Work equip 03 15x8 offsets?

Postby MXkal » Thu Jul 14, 2011 10:38 pm

Sup guys haven't been on for like 2 years or so..
After looking at the na8 sitting in the workshop for a few years out of rego i decided to spend some time and money on it, Thinking some of those yellow speed coilyovers and some 15x8 work equip 03s. What offset would i be looking at for them to just be able to tuck with some guard rolling? like +15 or something?. At the moments its sitting on some high offset 5 spoke 17s that just dont cut it..
Cheers
Kal

that depends on what tyre you go with. if you go for the stretch look with 195 50's then you might get away with +10 or so but I would go +15 to be safe.

you best bet is to search on clubroadster.net
98 evo gold - rotrexed and loving it.

Yea il be probably just running 195/50r15 feddy RSRs as i get them cheap as hell. Cars going to be significant low too, not too low just enough to tuck some tyre.

I think his 15 x 9's were plus 10, but his axis old schools were 8 and plus 25 with spacers I think. Build thread would confirm.

ok all set, il do the 15x9 +10 with feddy 205/50ZR15s, should give it a nice stance and some needed grip :)

It's probably worth noting charlie got defected with the equips due to them sticking out past the guard. I think he was also running a fair bit of camber to get them to fit. Why not send him a pm and ask what they were like to fit/use.

Rims are a decent investment before tires, so you don't want to get it wrong if you can avoid it.

I have Charlie's set of equips now. Not sure what he did but I had to pull my guards out a fair bit. I think I am running a lot less negative camber then he was though.

Any rough idea how far you had to pull your guards? got any pics of them on your car? It wont be dríven very much maybe every few weekends or something. Just want a low fat stance lol
