Head machining in WA any suggestions?

I blew a head gassket, looking to get it planed to be 100% sure
any recommendations of anyone to use in WA, ??

There is a known problem with the Mazda alloy heads that once overheated the alloy is softened and the problem will re-occur

That being said I hope it works out well.

Dave let us know what their service is like and how reasonably priced they are.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I would recommend mark at harris engines

fast honest and very well priced work

head goes on this weekend if i get the time

looks like a new head......soooooooooooo shiny

Second that - I have used Mark at Harris engines for my machine work, block bore, clean, decked, crank knife edged, fully build dynamic balance - all the work is good. Mark was the first person I spoke to (after talking to many) than didn't sound confused when I said knife edged. Also they are a one stop shop, they can do everything. Very nice guy to deal with, listens, gives good advise and is not condescending in the slightest for the weekend warrior armed with some information like me :D

Really need to get around to building my other engine so the car is less smokey.

Just went and got Head studs from these guys too.....very reasonable
they werent in stock but had them there next day and called me as soon as they arrived .......

good operator...very impressed
