Decided now it will be hitting track days again, and im poor, the manifold and turbo and cooler is in the shed. I reckon mod n/a will be a better class to learn circuit stuff in.
Ninja edit: I have plenty of forest experience and a fair bit of hillclimb experience and the circuit is new to me, as is the classing systems, unlike the dirt you cant run times with the big boys with just driving skill and big balls, dirt is the ultimate equaliser, that pulsar runs with the rexes and evos on a good weekend, and has been known to give the class 5 unlimited buggies a flogging in the wet, and id be one of the slower in the turbo class atm.

If you are interested, ive considered producing plug and play toyota cops looms for na6's. Not sure on cost, give me a week to ring around and decide if Ill use a modified and extensively cut toyota loom, or just make my own. Interested?

hey Dan, if you can build a COPs for me I'd happily pay .... Is this something you can do?

I'm thinking of buying a MS Pnp to go with an AFM delete.

I certaintly can. let me call a few wreckers because it would be best for our community IMO to buy the coils from low km half cuts and make the loom from scratch. I can only make 1.6 ones atm due to not having a 1.8 to perfect it on, wut the wiring diagrams are in my manual and the infos out there so I might make one and someone can volunteer to trial it whos local.

So pending me calling wreckers ill get a price up. I dont want to make a huge profit or anything I just want the street cred of cars running some of my bits hahahaha

Your still na6 right?

Ill throw it all in 'spikes' car when he gets this here for his cam cover in half hour and report its operation on a stock car.

Spikes is here and we just hooked it up. Worked beautifully. Straight swap and started instantly, took 5 mins to swap it. Ill let him comment. Mind you his car is TOTALLY STANDARD, stock computer and everything, ran great and when he got back after flogging it the coils werent hot or anything.
Obviously power improvements will be a higher percentage in more powerful cars stressing the ignition system more. But fuel economy benefits of reported average 2-3 mpg will be available for everyone :D As this is the reason they put these super powerful coils coils on a corolla.

Dan, thanks for posting a Garage Thread; it will make life easier for you and anyone curious about what you are up to.

Good to meet you at the scrutineering time yesterday, too.
I hope you worked out how much, if any, the big rear wing worked to help Patrick in his turbo terror. :)

Bryan's put up a thread about the new Clubman class about to begin in NSW, but I suppose your car's far beyond the three mods permitted there.

Love that ghetto intake!

Now for your other topic du jour: some rear diffuser fun!
Surely there's some potential for you to test your ideas and eventually come up with Dan's Diffuser's. :D

You too mate.

Pats run after he let us fix it up was what I believe the mx5 club outright record, so it helped a bit..

A few people seem very keen on a diffuser so Ill have to get some fibreglass on it soon.

If anyone near here is good at fibreglass and wants a free diffuser hit me up.

The super hard parts have been done, I just want a quality finish.

Nice to meet you yesterday Dan.

So when will we see your beast on the track? I'm sure you were itching to take it out yesterday, watching all of us have a go.

Barring any unforseen emergencies, I will be there.

Start of the new competition season, I'll make sure I don't miss a single track day to ensure I get points. I miss 3 last year.
