Mx5 nc rims question

Do these fit under a nc mx5?

17 x 8 +51 fronts with Advan AD08 225/40

17 x 9 +63 rears with Advan AD08 255/40

Fronts no problem.

Rear , you going to be going out by 33mm (compared to standard 205's on 7"). Thats 8mm on the offset and 25mm each way on the tyres.

Fronts will be OK, rears will almost certainly foul on the inside.

So the rear will scrape the inside!! Ok.. 20mm spacers atvthe rear and I'll be running go kart wheels ( tyres sticking out of the guard ) ???

Nope, +63 means that the mounting flange on the wheel is 63 mm toward the outside from the centre of the wheel.
Bigger the number, further IN the wheel sits.

Go with 17 x 9 with +48 offset. 235 x 40 will fit fine. Any wider and you will probably have to roll the fender slightly.
