NA popin head light

Postby gslender » Sun Jun 19, 2011 7:34 pm

I have a single drivers side head light (in my NA) that pops up and down several times when 1st turned on. The motor is just going round and round cycling the head lamp up & down. Eventually it settles and stays up... Odd?

Me thinks it might be the indicator assembly.... I have a 2nd hand unit to try, but wanted hear thoughts from others....

If its making it all the way to the top and all the way to the bottom and repeats this with no pause. Its probably got something to do with the motor and gearbox itself.

do some searches - it has been raised a number of times - maybe also on Miata site. Do not get your fingers anywhere near the unit if doing any testing.
