Thanks!

I try to make it as detailed as i can. I really love sharing the experience i have with the car.

bensale wrote:Nice update and some great photos! Glad you enjoyed Winton, you really should get out there and do some more sprints days. There is one at Winton in August, you should enter!

The new motor is very nice, I love the mid range it has, feels very healthy =)

Is it short track, or long track? I think i could be tempted, however, i need to save the penny's at the moment. The car has been sucking my funds a bit too much lately.

The motor just keeps getting better, i'm getting to the point where i'm a little more open to revving it out on the odd occasion, it's quite eager.

Wow, lots of progress. Sad to hear you had another SNC, but glad it turned out well in the end. Is this an NA6 motor or NB6 motor you have put in? Good choice with the wrinkle black cam cover too, looks really neat.

I guess that's the good thing about leaving big gaps between updates. Lots more to read! They spent a lot of time degreasing everything, i'm glad they did, the end result is brilliant!

When will we be seeing you again anyway? It was a good night last time you came down :)

Thanks Nick, It's a NA6 Long Nose motor. The crinkle black does look good, little bit different.

How is your car going?

Provided I can get the NA8 in a good state for a roadtrip I'd like to drive down again this summer. :)

Ah, i never explained that, did i?

The wheels i have on the car at the moment belong to Ben Sale, i bought the tyres from him and am using the wheels until the tyres die. As these were his track wheels, he needed to replace them.

So... I decided to give him the Panasports. It turns out they were 14", not 15". The are now the infamous Orange wheels that sit on his car.

I also have some new photo's! Lee and i took a trip out to a rather empty Doncaster shopping town car park on Saturday night to take some snaps. We managed to get some pretty good results, these were taken on Lee's Canon 40D with a 70-200mm IS.

Thanks Mate, I also noticed that this car is practically identical in most ways to my late Roadster...

Looking at the pic of your old car with sleepy eyes made me LOL. Do you want to do that again..? Glad to see you're happy and a couple of those photos are really nice. Looking forward to seeing the car Thursday!

JDMST sticker... :P

How are the plans for a black roll bar progressing? I think that is what it desperately needs next =)

And yes, Cheyne's wheels are my formerly bright orange now brake dust stain enhanced 'terracotta' track wheels.

Well, Gareth may be taking the roll bar off my hands when he is ready. A black NB BD bar will be going in eventually.

Sleepy Lights... No thanks

out of curiosity, why a NB bar over the NA? what is the difference, thanks.

The main difference is in the cross bar. In the picture below is an NA bar. The cross bar stars at the top and makes its was down to the rear mounting plate.

The NB bar is a very similar bar, however, the cross bar will go straight down between the seatbelt towers to accommodate the folding glass roof found on the NB. The rear tower bars also pivot outwards on the NB, the NA will pivot inwards. Both bars are just as effective, i do plan to fit an NB soft top in the near future though.
