The bushings in my MX5 are shot, mainly the control arm ones both front and rear.. I was thinking of replacing them with Nolathane ones, but I don't want to regrease them every few thousand ks. I heard that Superpro makes bushings that are maintenance free.. but a whole set of bushes is up around the $850 mark!!
Anybody have any recommendations?
Which bushing kit?

I have the superpro ones. I find they made a huge improvement to the control and precision of the suspension, but also a large detriment to the NVH.
I also didn't put enough grease on the rear ones, so they are quite noisy...

How is your front end? in terms of maintenance and noise? One thing I hate about poly bushings the squeaking noises that it makes when the grease dries out

As quiet as the stock rubber bushes, we put a lot more grease on them though.
No maintenance so far on either end.

Phooaaarrr thats ridicously cheap compared to everything else I've seen, but what research is telling me is you get what you pay for and that apparently Flo-flex are just sh*t

Re: Which bushing kit?
I plan to buy off them shortly, i found some decent reviews and a thread on club roadster referring to them etc.
I mean you could spend $600 but you could spend $200 and have $400 for other mods.. etc. Good luck anyways

Re: Which bushing kit?
I have read quite a few reviews regarding poor quality on the Flo Flex. Haven't used them myself but as changing the bushes is such a costly / time consuming job it's not a job you want to be doing again in a years time.

Re: Which bushing kit?
I had a set of Energy Suspension bushings installed in my old Honda Civic, greased them up properly with the provided lube and it still squeaked like a bitch!
