Great pics and presentation!

Are you using protective film over the headlights, to protect from chips?
Have you considered a tint on the film, for a smoked effect and to give it more of a SE headlight look?

I'm interested to see your car with black lights, where the only light is reflected from clear HID projector lenses. Would look hot with just the projector lenses being the non-'bleck' element. :)

You should bring your bleckie to St Oves sometime!

No protective film on the headlights. I have thought about getting SE lights but not a tinting film. I've also thought about blacking out the headlight housing too..

St Ives Max Brenner? Haven't been for a while even though I'm a member of the Nissan club that usually hangs around there.

Please come to that carpark and put a note about it on the St Ives thread. Last week there were MX5 people but no 5s, even tho' it's St Ives!

The easiest option with the lights is finding someone who does tints, who can put on high-temp, tinted film on the lights. Dave from Reflect Effect and no doubt other protective film specialists can do this kind of work. Probably for a low cost.

Putting headlights in the oven, to get the glue soft and break-openable, then prepping and painting the lights, is the harder but doable option.

If you're going that far, you could do what they do on hidplanet.com (only do this when you have a spare set of headlights!)... put in a second set of projectors!

Will definitely do so. Might not be too soon as I'm down near Hurstville.

Track spec. 15x8+36 6UL on 205/50/15 595RS-R. Rears have a 5mm spacer which will be taken off on the track. :NB8B:

ULs really suit the car.

Have you seen pics of a black NA8 with this wheel? I am going to try to find such a pic.

Great work. It looks like there will be a few MX5s this week at MB, so keep an eye on that thread.

I think your car would be the most striking car (in a tasteful way) at the meet. I suppose a car with flames isn't quite in the same league. We had a laugh, though!

Last weekend I headed out to WP with the NSCC and managed a 1:15.475 which is about 2.2seconds faster than last time I went. A nice improvement considering I only changed tyres and got a wheel alignment. Aiming to dip into the 14's next time round!

Yesterday I went up for a drive on the OPH! Giving some bikers a run for their money too.
