Now that NitroDann and CheyneX5 have finished their Lovefest
I just ignore NitroDann's comments at the best of times.

back ot

I received fantastic service and response from James at MX5 Centre and 949racing regarding my concerns.
Thanks James.

At this stage, a bit of Silver Engine Enamel i had lying around has hidden the worst of the chips.
Thanks to all who offered constructive advice.
My main intention was to put up the topic in case it was an endemic problem with the 6ULs.

Yes Stu It does look good...

If the paint keeps stripping off then maybe?

Strip all the paint and look into cold chroming...

There is a mob at Redcliffe that specialise in it...

Or even HPC the rims

gotta keep them looking nice

Is Nitro the new DJ? i don't think so

That said, is it me (no) or has dj infected this forum with just a bit more tetchiness than there was previously?

Good idea putting up the thread though, and noted about the fragility of the 6ul finish.

I don't have the nickel, but will have a closer look at the bronze over the w/e and report if there are any finish issues.

I second cold-chroming  would look hot.
