NC wheels yah or nah?

Postby Zohxoco » Mon May 16, 2011 10:02 pm

OK so this is not a real photo, but my car on GT5. Well OK it's got some mods under the bonnet (actually, all of them!) but the colour is correct (True Red).

Dunno itf it's possible to get or paint wheels this colour. But can this work? Or does it just look crap? Opinions?

I really love the wheels, but those two particular colours clash. I voted sweet for the record.

I could think of worse things. However I could appreciate them far more if they weren't your every day wheels.

Ultimately, ignore what we say and if you like them, go for it.

I agree with both Hjt and Jeo. Like the wheels, dislike the colour, but if you like it then do it. :)

Funny enough, my mate has a similar colour set-up on his Integra Type S - DC 5 i will try and sort out a image for it, because he has since changed to bronze coloured rims.

Thanks everyone, I agree it's probably not the right look for the street. What about dark red?

What about an orangy-red or goldy-red? A lighter variation on the car body, that is not gold nor yellow.

ROFL That image of the NC sideways has hilarious gaps between the bonnet and front bumper, reminds me of NA models with badly aligned headlights and bonnets

I like the green more than the red.

If you're keen on the fluro look, perhaps more of a yellowey-green?

Yeah he's hit the wall a few times :D

I have a white NC with lime, matt green wheels in GT5, looks pretty funky :D

it's complicated. you can only do it from a replay. pause the replay and the photo mode comes up. after posing your car u can save The image. then u go to the photo section off gt screen and save it to XMB. then exit gt5, insert USB drive, go to photo mode, select photo and export to USB.

and yeah the gap is due to some unintended off track excursions :)
