Hello all,
I have a 1990 1.6 and want to upgrade the exhaust, looking at stainless extractors from the USA, $180 delivered, do I get rid of the cat? I know it is illegal and run a mild steel 2" system with a sports rear muffler? Is there a better bolt on option? Do I just buy the stainless cat back system from the USA for about $350 delivered?
Cheers

$180 delivered for a set of extractors seems a little cheap, are you able to have a good look at the extractors before buying. Pay particular attention to the welds on the flange on the insides of the pipes. The fit should be nice and smooth and the welds should be smooth and not obstructive.
With regards to the exhaust, look at a cat back system before you buy extractors, you will get more benefit from the zorst on its own than the extractors on their own.
de-Cat ?? I think my NA6 runs better with the Cat than with out it.
hope this helps.

Dont get a cat back. Without a new or removed cat youll get no improvement with just cat back.
