Mr Bender is correct - not everything is about power.
A black naturally aspirated na MX5 is the quickest car at the Autotest's that the MX5 club runs at the RAC Driving Centre.
Keeping all the turbo and supercharged cars behind - just.
A bit different on the longer track there - it can keep all but a full on race car set up turbo MX5 and a V8 MX5.
Not bad for 160hp atw's.
On a big track or the open road it is a different matter - would get left behind.
Mr Bender, why dont you pop on out to the RAC centre on the 22nd to see 25-30 MX5's racing around the cones in round 5 of our Autotest series.

Warwick is such a humble man. He just forgot to mention that he is an awesome driver and can outdrive most Elises/EVOs around the tight corners at the Autotests.Waz man wrote:Mr Bender is correct - not everything is about power.

The point about coming out to the club's Autotest or Sprint competition even to just have a look is worthwhile. In my most biased opinion, it is the best run and value grassroots motorsports available in WA.
At the very least, you should attend the next coffee meet this month to chat with other MX5 owners/enthusiasts.

Agreed. So much to learn from these knowledgeable people.
